Cuz I can't help it.

I never claimed to be a leader. I’m a follower.
Could be because I’m lazy but who knows.

Anywhoozle…what I’m getting at is that I too, will be posting some New Year goals, resolutions and plans that are most probably unattainable for me BUT I love lists – so I can’t help it.

Here we go:

1. Give a gluten-free diet a full 30 days. (as a possible prevention to my migraines)

2. Schedule monthly girls or couples nights.

3. Research meditation

4. Be proactive – not reactive – in my health.

5. One night a week = family night

6. No TV on during supper.

7. Research & possibly begin couponing

8. Continue using Dave Ramsey’s plan

9. Date night 1 or 2 times a month

10. Complete a fitness race of some type

11. Continue blogging.

12. Plan weekly meals – shop accordingly.

13. Give allowances – teach to spend/save/donate

14. Be less judgemental. Try to walk in other’s shoes.

15. Practice self-love.

Voila!  That's my list!

I like your list! I follow Dave Ramsey's books, I meal plan every week and I went to my cooter check unprompted by my doctor. Happy 2012!

Good luck on the Gluten Free diet!! It is so hard for me to follow, but I swear I feel so much better when I am gluten free. I don't have migraines, but swell up like a blow fish when I eat gluten.

I love your whole list. I think I need to do the date night a couple times a month too.

I'm curious about gluten free and why so many people are doing it. It would be great if it helped you have fewer headaches! Keep us posted. Happy New Year!

That's a fantastic list! Great job. I think all those things are reasonable and attainable.
We suck at planning date nights. There never seems to be enough time.
I tried gluten free for a while but later discovered that dairy was my nemesis, not the gluten. It's just trial and error.
Happy New Year!

I think this is a great list! You can totally do it. And let me know how the gluten free thing goes. My sister is trying it now and she says she's feeling much better all around.

I quit eating gluten because my hair was falling out A LOT, my periods were WHACK, and I had inexplicable back and knee pain ... every morning, I woke up feeling like my kidneys were swelling against my spine if you can imagine that. Giving up gluten stopped ALL OF IT ... but you have to GIVE IT UP ... sadly, there is no "cutting back", at least for me it was all or nothing. Good luck! You can do it!

Gluten free is awesome. :3 You could even take it a step further and go grain-free or paleo. Lol.

Oh! If you are interested in recipes, check out http://chowstalker.com and http://dessertstalker.com. Healthy gluten-free recipes (mostly) & total food porn.

I also blog about my trials and successes with gluten-free/low carb/paleo, etc... over at my blog http://roseywinterrose.blogspot.com. :)

Good luck with your plans!

#15 is my favorite! You have to be president and CEO of your own fan club!

Or so Dawnya tells me all the time.

Love the list. I haven't gotten up the guts to commit mine to paper/blog. Number 11 is my favorite, and I know you can succeed at that one.
