Wacky Wednesday!

Happy Humpalump Day Skittles!

I can’t seem to form normal paragraphs today so Ima gonna do bullets.

• Wanna know what the kids in Podunk do when they are bored? Well, they go sledding. Down hills. In August. On grass. Yup. My kids and the neighbors spent half the day sledding down a huge hill in the neighbor’s backyard – on grass. And they flew. It could be because we have hardly any grass due to the drought but it just looked crazy. I never even asked whose idea that was.

• I know I’ve said this before BUT whoever invented the bigger packages of M&Ms that say “Sharing Size” in the corner was clearly not a woman. Who shares chocolate? Especially when there is clearly not enough to share even though the package dictates that you should. Share my ass. No way.

• Rambo has a doctor appointment today regarding something with his wrist/elbow that has been hurting him. He saw a regular MD who then said he should see a specialist. Wanna know what kind of specialist he is seeing today? For his ARM? A neurologist. Ah yes – someone finally figured out Rambo has a head problem. LOL

• Speaking of Rambo….I sincerely hope I am never faced with the challenge of replacing him in my life. On the radio this morning, I heard that the biggest turnoff for men towards women is ________. Can you guess what it is? I was thinking bad breath. No teeth. Camel toe. 16 kids from prior relationships maybe? Nope. None of the above. It is TATTOOS. Shitballs. I’m screwed. If that’s men’s biggest turnoff in women – and Rambo wasn’t in my life for some reason – I’d be single forever after. Just me and my tattoos. I’ll have to get some cats I suppose.

• I had lasik eye surgery so I wouldn’t have to wear glasses and today I’m wearing fake glasses. What the what? I can’t help it. They are olive green, blue and brown plaid patterned and they are super cute. And fake. And not necessary to see. Cuz I got surgery to not wear glasses. Geez.

• The local military branch here is shipping out to Afghanistan this week. It seems so odd for men and women to be going there when all you hear about it is how the war is over and everyone is coming home. So sad. So heroic.

• Also – as you saw above – I think I found my new candy addiction. It’s M&Ms. And only in the LARGE sharing packs. Goodbye white KitKats…hello pretty little round bites of happiness. Just looking at the colors makes me smile. I think M&Ms are Skittles first cousins…which is probably another reason why I love them so much.

Buh-bye loverlies!

You are funny.

And while I dont have any tattoos yet- (A phoenix on my shoulder will be coming soon and I have others planned as well) my husband finds them a turn ON. SO anything happens to our husbands, we would be good company for each other with our cats.

Trying to stay away from chocolate, though I just bought a great organic all natural one from the farmers market. Bad because I dont feel as guilty for eating it.

And have you ever seen snowmobile races on the grass? Not kidding. They have those races by us every once in a while. So sledding isnt such a stretch. LOL

M&M's a happy, pretty little nibblets of crack. I <3 them so much that I just can't be near them. Especially the peanut kind.

OH, have you tried to sweet and salty trail mix? M&Ms, minature chocolate chip cookies, peanuts, and pretzels. We went through bags of that when my Mom was in the hospital.

I only have two tattoos but I do plan on getting more. I would get a half sleeve if I could get away with it.

Sounds like a blast. So jealous. I wish we had hills here...

I agree. Share my ass! Although I do think I would share with you...but I'd be pretty picky who I share with...

Ahh...the neurologist for a joint! Makes total sense!

I met LHF after I was 30 with multiple tattoos - and being a home owner. Kiss of death, I heard. A single woman I was with an insanely high income who owned my own house...most men I dated following that ran for the hills. Fred said "what a nice change!"...but I was all set with my cats by then...

Makes total sense. My dad (an optometrist) made me wear glasses starting at age 3. I fought tooth and nail against them. I finally won the battle and didn't have to wear glasses anymore when I was 13. And then I started wearing sunglasses all the time. My dad couldn't figure me out...

So sad. So heroic. I agree completely.

I'm onto caramel twix like crazy right now. I thought of you the other day as I opened my 4th one in lieu of a real lunch...

Love you!! Happy Humpalump day to you, too!!

Sorry, M&M's are the big daddy. Chocolate rules, sugary-chewy candy drools, although my husband loves both. Have you had Peanut Butter M&M's? Dear Lord. Or you could do what I do (have done), pour some M&M's in the pb jar and eat with a spoon!

I absolutely can NOT have M&M's anywhere near me because I could eat a whole POUND, ahem, "family size" bag by myself and have no power to stop the madness.
Glad to see someone else shares my insane addiction!

I heard a statistic this morning that 9% of parents surveyed (don't know what survey) said they bought their kids tattoos for back to school. I'm thinking the "biggest turn off" thing is the older crowd...so if something happens to rambo, you'll just have to become a cougar. :)

You and your love for candy always cracks me up. I'm the same way about bread.

I love m&m's too. Wanna know how I love to eat them?? Sure you do. I pour them in a brown paper lunch sack and then use the blow dryer on them. It doesn't take long at all. Then the chocolate on the inside is melted. MMM, MMM, MMM!

I couldn't resist buying m&m's when I was in the States last week, my fave are the coconut and the pretzels and yup they had those in huge bags only. Not proud to say I've gobbled them all up while sitting in the cold near the Arctic dreaming about getting back over there to buy more

I LOVE m&ms...even fun to type the name. I eat them one at a time and if left alone with a bag can eat the whole thing. Share, shmare!

glasses after surgery for no glasses...perfect sense because now it is your CHOICE. A fashion choice!

They must think Rambo has carpal tunnel or something. Hope he is feeling better soon.
